Doe's anything really compare to American music i mean America has like the biggest music industry in the world and have bought some of the best bands to this world but do you think any bands from other countries compare?

All the new metal bands are the best from the US, i.e poison the well, thrice etc. Thats why I want to make a band resembling Poison The Well as there are non like it in the UK (to my knowledge).
England compare comfortably - in the form of Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest.
Finland are worth a mention too, they've got some very talented bands like Children of Bodom and Nightwish. Chances are you've no idea what they're like, but Children of Bodom are black metal... With keyboards, and Nightwish are a strange operatic sort of metal, like Evenescance (sp?) but toned up a few notches.
All in all, I'd say the majority of American music is fairly rubbish really.
