It actually looked quite tacky from the trailer. After the car comes smashing through and Peter and Mary-Jane stand up...it looks crap. I could do better effetcs on Paint.

Yeah, I've seen that too. I think it probably means there's a Two Towers style Bean flashback, but it's in the theatrical cut. But Bean's in it, so let all rejoice.
Speaking of Sean Bean, I got an email from Ster Century Cinema advertising RoTK. In the list of who stars in it, it showed this geezers name. Now didn't he die in Fellowship?

It doesnt have Sean Bean. I reckon that's the key to a good movie. Any classic movie has Bean in it. If you haven't seen him, you aren't looking hard enough.

I think it looks the business althoug Mary-Jane has gotten ugly. Still go and see it though. I thought the original was a solid example of the genre and I think the 2nd will be a memorable example of it :D
