Just read that Lynch had turned down the chance to direct "Return of the Jedi" in order to film "Dune".
My mind boggles at the thought of a Lynch Star Wars movie.
On the Subject of Dune, I love the movie BTW, but would have much prefered to have the optioned Hr Giger / Salvadore Dali / Alexandro Jodorovsky ("El Topo") version filmed.
