So this is where I need your experienced help, to see if there is any way of making an S-Video Socket appear on the T.V or not, as I did not pay £60 for a Pro Cable that I cannot use, as it is useless when I have sharp sound but nothing in the way of Visual!
I know that I cannot get a Monster Cable that has Scart, so I am desperate for an Help quickly!!!
Glad to be of service!
The reason I did not want to go for a RGB Cable was because I spent £59.99 for that Monster Cable, and I did not want to throw all that money away if I could help it!!!
It looks like I am the only person who has bothered to Order a Monster Gamelink Cable as no-one else has used one here yet, as I am waiting for someone to say how good the cable is and if it's worth the extra money!
You could try Jessops - the web site URL is obvious!
What you're looking for is not a cable, but an adapter block similar to the one which comes with the PS2; it should have three phono connectors for composite video and left/right audio, but also an S-Video input to provide the better video quality. So you'd just connect your audio leads, and the S-Video plug - leaving the composite video socket empty.
You may be fed up with hearing it, but I still think you should go for a SCART connection. See:

...for the reason why - detailed info in easily understandable terms!
If all else fails, Logic 3 do an RGB cable which also has composite outputs which you can connect for DVD playback.
This is getting really difficult because I have not got this S-Video, but maybe I will have to see if I can return the Cable and Exchange it for another Monster Cable that is for the 3 Sockets at the front???
You can get an S-Video to SCART adapter from most A/V shops, i.e. Tandy etc. If at all possible, get a gold-plated one - anything else may detract from the quality of your cable.
