Obviously what a machine can do is important, but is it not more vital that the programmers produce games that can fully use their capabilities? The Playstation was quite an under-achiever in terms of what it could do, and in what it actually produced. The SNES was producing games of higher quality (Donkey Kong Country) even though it was a technically inferior machine. I don't expect Sony will change, they'll keep on mass producing games and say "Look at our range of titles!!!" This will impress the casual gamer. I expect that Nintendo (and Rare) games will really show off what the Dolphin can do, and they will continually look for ways to push their games further.
