I haven't bought a game for my Cube in ages - I think Resi Zero was the last.

I've recently bought a some of PS2 games, and there are some XBOX and PC games on my Xmas list.

What should I be looking at for my Cube? I will readily admit that I am completely out of touch with what's available.

I'm not strictly limited to any style of game, so I'll give you some examples of what I've had recently to give you some idea of what I like...

On PS2 I've bought...

Jak II Renegade
Ratchet & Clank 2
Ghosthunter
Manhunt

On my list for Xmas are...

Need for Speed Underground (XBOX)
Dino Crisis 3 (XBOX)
Rainbow 6 3 (XBOX)
Broken Sword 3 (PC)

My Cube is feeling neglected, and I need to cheer it up.

I currently own (or have owned) Resident Evil, Resi Zero, Super Monkey Ball, Eternal Darkness, Metroid Prime, and Star Wars Rogue Leader.

Just don't mention anything with Mario!

Well, I enjoyed the first 2 Dino Crisis games, so I'm not ruling it out.

PGR2, on the other hand, I've ruled out because of the boredom induced by the cone challenges in the first game. No doubt someone will point out the online option, but I don't have (and never will have) Live! cos I'm not interested in online gaming. :-)

I'd cancel Dino Crisis and get Project Gotham 2 if I was you. Dino Crisis is awful, really dire stuff.

Oh yes, and Star Wars Rebel Strike is excellent as well, as is Skies Of Arcadia, if you're up for a tremendously deep Final Fantasy-esque RPG.

F-Zero GX is a must as it's easily one of the top racing titles of the year.

Also, if you're looking for something original, Viewtiful Joe is a possibility, and Wind Waker is a top game, although if you don't like Mario there's a chance you won't like Zelda.

Pikmin is a funny strategy title that you should enjoy, while Super Monkey Ball 2 is supreme in multiplayer, and also rock solid in single-player as well - despite the looks and the hilariously insane plotline, this is a great game.

If you missed out on them when they were released for the DreamCast - Ikaruga and Skies of Arcadia: Legends are superb, even if they are remakes. Rebel Strike, Double Dash, Metal Arms and XIII are also amazing, but the latter are multi-format so you may have them.

Oh, and for the fans - get Made in Wario + Freeloader from Lik-Sang for £30. ;-)

I'd personally recommend:

Pikmin, Viewtiful Joe, F Zero X and 1080.

All beautiful beautiful games.

Thats the Nintendo difference. In everyone of those games. :)
