MoJo's SR game. Thought some of you who haven't seen it would like to check it out.

www.geocities.com/rumneyuk/spamhard

Download the game zip and the music zips (you don't need the music, but it rocks so treat yourself) and unzip everything from every zip (game and music) to the same directory (ie. C:\SpamHard)

It's a basic platformer, with Snuggly fighting to save the SR Christmas party and stop the evil regulars from banning all newbies, making themselves notables and locking the forums so nobody else can join (no more newbies) It's based on my old spoof - http://ukchatforums.reserve.co.uk/display_messages.php? (space) threadid=45608&forumid=301

The Stryke led regulars have killed Tony, now they're hacking into the SR database to get YOUR details. It's time to take out the trash/it's payback time/they didn't count on one man/this time - it's personal (take your pick from any one of those cliched poster lines)

Curser keys to move/aim, control to shoot, shift to jump. You get 10 shots then you have to reload (though you can reload at any time) Press \ or / to reload. You can't shoot while reloading, or while moving (it was too easy to just walk down the platforms blasting away and killing enemies you couldn't even see)

Complete it and you get to watch Snuggly dance, as well as some "bloopers" from on set. Mostly Stryke getting angry.

I've heard it crashes on level 3 on certain machines. That sucks, but there's really nothing I can do. So, if it DOES crash, open it again, press F8, this will bring down a menu. Click Game, then Password then enter any of the following numbers/letters

1 - first stage (three levels)
2 - second stage (three levels)
3 - third stage (three levels)
4 - fourth stage (one level - bonus shooter where you use the mouse)
G - Snuggly vs Stryke (final level)

The controls may seem fiddly at first, but trust me, you'll get used to them (I can complete it with one hand, but then, I made it)

So go forth, my lovable monkeys, and defeat Stryke!

You should put an epileptic seizure warning on snuggly dancing... No really... Before someone sues.

Oh, I dunno, I think they said it'd be done after Christmas, but who knows, what with the late entries and all.

I finally finished your game Mojo (cheated? Who?). That was seriously worth it - watching Snuggly dance. Much better than expected!

Excellent game, well done with it!

Has there been anymore news about the GAD comp?

Game is just over 3mb.
First music zip is under 3mb.
Second music zip is just over 4mb.
Third music zip is under 3mb.

Tiny, really, but if it's a problem download the game and get the music later, or just queue them (I assume you have DAP or some other download assistor since you're on 56k)
