Gonna have my first proper 'Geek Day' today.

8 of us are all taking our PCs into the common room this afternoon and we're gonna have a massive game of Red Alert 2 and Quake 3.

It should be mildly amusing, and I'm gonna win.

Just gotta finish off this stupid essay first. Damn these PCs, why do they have to have distracting Internet on them!?!?

Hub.

We are allowed to play on the school computers, and there is like a few hundred or so.
We obviously only play like 10 people, but it is propper fun.

Good stuff. I'm not big on traditional multiplayer games like Quake etc, I pretty much suck at them.

Quite liked AoE II online and playing console games with my mates but I'm not going to go online with my PS2.

5 laptops and 2 desktops.

One was quite lightweight, flatscreen, thin case, while the other was a beast! Not too far to take them though, easily do it yourself...

How the hell are you going to take a whole PC into the common room?

Wouldnt it take a long time to cart it all down? Dont know what yours in made of, perhaps plywood, but mine is quite heavy.

My common room only has 6 plugs too. Gay
