Yo! For anyone out there who has played a PS2, let's hear your views on it. To begin, here's mine:
I love the PSX. It's great, a real games machine. The PS2 however it a useless DVD player that can play second rate games. Teh very design of the console software packages is flawed- No Anti-aliasing to start with, DVD drivers that delete, and to cap it off Sony rushed the consoles developers. Also, the console will cost £300 without a game or memory card. BUT WORST OF ALL, and the point of this message... THE GAMES SUCK! The games are the reason for a console, and at the end of the day they are all a true gamer should care about. Firstly, the games are unoriginal remakes. Secondly, they have worse graphics than Dreamcast games. Now, someone will say "what about MGS2". My response to that is, "What about Shenmue? Beat that!". The games are not "revolutionary"- remember the original Tekken demo, where 80 characters watch a fight? Anyone who's played the game will see that no level exists!
Anyway, that's my opinion. Anyone who has played a PS2 can respond... no-one else!

Another few huge problems with Tekken:
1) Even though the backgrounds were meant to be joined to the platform, they are not. This leads to the background rotating the wrong way sometimes- which is v. poor.
2) Unlike Soul Calibut it doesn't have an indepth story mode.
3) It's Tekken 3 with better graphics!

In my opinion i liked the PS2 but haven't played any games on the DC to compare it with, the only 2 games i've played on the DC are Soul Calibur and Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and both those games were better than Tekken Tag Tournament, but i want to get this point through don't underestimate the PS2 because it has not long been out in Japan and it has not got as many games as the DC so you can't really compare the 2 until the the PS2 brings out some more titles. At the moment i prefer the DC because you can get some top titles on that and have a laugh playing multiplayer with your mates, i'm even thinking of buying one but i'll probably just wait for the Dolphin because i'm a major Nintendo fan. At the moment the playstation is bunk so their better be improvements for the UK release otherwise it the DC for me.
Has anyone played Tekken Tag tournament if you have you will know that it has some good graphics but if you look closely you will find that the backgrounds have some sharp edges in this is not the kind of thing you will want to find in what people say is going to bethe best ever console. So if Sony don't improve their console is gonna be crap
