I got Last Broadcast a long time ago, and apart from the eclectic Words, ain't listened to it much.
Recently however, I have been, and they rule. I don't normally go for such obviously er, 'bands of this type', but they are really good.

I'm quite partial to a bit of Doves. With the Last Broadcast it did take me a while to like it, but once that initial 'hmmmm?' period is over, you can really begin to appreciate the music. They're not a band I listen to all the time but the album comes out at regular intervals and I enjoy listening to it.

There's no "The", simply "Doves". I know it's stupidly picky, but I really like the way their name is just one syllable. The presently aggressive grunt of a name is about where my time for them ends though.
