What are your thoughts on not being able to use mobile phones in a car?
Mine is that it is a good idea, as im not a driver i dont know how much of an incovenience it is to drivers, it will be to my dad, that i know for sure!

i'm a driver and i use a phone.
i used to have a company phone specifically so they could reach me when on the road, but my feeling is that it's a good move to ban their use.
it's not illegal to use them hands free however so i feel the emphasis has been, quite rightly, put on the fact that if you only have 1 hand free, you can't operate a car in all likely eventualities in a safe manner.

I think the law is an excellent idea. Its been enforced here for about a year now and the number of road accidents caused by recklessness/not watching the road have been markedly reduced. I dont understand why people cant just pull over when their phone rings. People are in too much of a rush these days.
the way to solve it is to have black tinted windows :p

My cousin was ranting to me about that law the weekend before it came into effect. He is a REALLY flash guy with a really flash lifestyle and he's upset that people can't see him wearing holding his Samsung momobile in his BMW X5...too rich for his own good damn it lol.
