I am flabbergasted that companies are blatantly ruining adverts by their use of product placement. There is nothing worse than watching adverts that are promoting the consumption of tasty burgers or telling you to drink beer, and having them spoiled when companies try and tell you which ones to eat, or which lagers to drink. I wonder when the advertising industry sold out to these conglomerates? The product placement is almost as obvious as it is in films. You know the ones I mean. I was watching the Two Towers the other day and there is a bit where Frodo asks Sam what have they got to eat and he replies “let me see, Lembas bread, oh Lembas bread and more Lembas bread” whilst rubbing his tummy and licking his lips. What is even worse is the fact I cannot buy this bread in any supermarket in the UK. So it is another product only available to the foreigners. I also think that trying to use sex to sell a product is wrong. OK so Sam touched Frodo’s winky when they were young in a juvenile moment of discovery but it doesn’t mean they have to ram it down our throats. It is strange however that Sam’s imaginary friend, Golem, doesn’t like the taste of his bread and is terrified when the homobits tie him up.

I’m never watching TV again!

I remember when the advertising industry used to be wholesome and respectable. You could sit down and let your grandma watch adverts for Lyon's cakes without fear of her collapsing in a sudden epilepsy.

Indeed; all the things that I write are intentional, even the spelling errors and the bits that people don't find funny.

The tragedy here is that I expect many people won't see the humour in this post.

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
