The European launch of the PS2 is delayed till November 24th- one month after America. It will sell for £299 (what did I tell you!), and will not include a memory card (£30). The reason for the delay is that sony is making units for japan (where they are still in short supply) america and europe- which is a hell of a burden! Also, PSone development is starting.
As for Japanese sales figures here they. The PS2 has shipped 3 million to stores (NOT SOLD 3 MILLION!), yet most of these are used as DVD players and not consoles! In fact, PS2 game sales are still v. low in Japan!
