It's not even that, the attaining of imaginary status or goods, it's the entire fact that one game style is looked down upon and classed as a waste of time, while another game style is not. If one was "Eduntainment" (I hate that word) and the other a mindless shooter, possibly, but at the end of the day they're both games.
What do both styles offer apart from entertainment? Nothing.
Yes, yes, somethings like quicker hand / eye coordination, increased problems solving etc etc, but that's taken for granted
No time on computers is a waste of time ever, apart from Crossbobs stories.

Just life wasting online FP shooters?
[edit] I'm not getting sniffy here BTW, I just love the fact that some people consider a couple of hours a night on a MMORPG as "life wasting" yet are quite happy playing Counterstrike for the same amount of time. It's incredibly hypocritical.
Meh, it was fun, even if we did get smacked about.
I tried to get into the M$K after they whupped us. No luck.
Also, you are getting ASS-raped on the server fees, I hope you realise. Not that you don't deserve it, because you come across as an annoying idiot.

And you're all getting [ASS] raped to whom you pay the money to. Because they make a nice £20 profit out of it all.
