Right, every three months a vote happens and many folk vote for people with the winner getting a wee coloured name and the title of 'Notable'.
From the Ukchatforums page we have:
One new "Notable" is elected every three months, in respect of their contribution to making the Future of Gaming forum (in the Open Forums) a very special place.
Note the words "contributuion" and "very special place".
So vote for someone who car write well, is entertaining makes the forums a good place for you to visit and itsn't a mong with the IQ of a door.
Oh and someone who uses the forums and isn't going to disappear in the near future.
