...we (England) just won the Rugby Worl Cup!! And there has been no hype about it at all. I for one am dissapointed.
Not just on here, but the papers, so they had froont pages the day after, but since, NOTHING. I think it is a disgrace. If it had been football we would all still be talking about it in a years time.

I deffinatly agree if it was fball everyone would be going crazy about it it would be the top news.Whats fball got that rugby doesn't?
Heh, the radio earlier covered the teams return to the UK. The reporter said "thousands of people were there to welcome the team back to british soil" - you could only hear about two guys cheering!

Football is seen as a more accessible sport than rugby, which is probably why is much more hyped over.

Rugby sucks. The only reason why everyone seemed all excited about it is because England don't normally win. Once everyone found out how really unexciting it actually is, nobody gave a damn.
That's not true, it's just the unwashed football lout hordes that didn't give a damn.
Bloody rugby, its absolutely ridiculous, 6000 people arriving to meet them as they arrived! too much for a game of rugby.

England dont normally win....
England win a damn well lot of the games they play - most. they have got close lots of times and they won the lions as well this year so :P
