The cross atlantic link between Britain and the USA was broken. It fixed now.
Apparently, the reason why it went down was because there was an underground earthquake or something between the UK and France.. :s

my internet was off yesterday due to NTL, DNS sever was down.
It was like SR was missing for a period because when I tried to load it, it said site not found and when google finally worked I typed it in there and it only had the old stuff from SR from last year.
Yeah it was playing funny beggars on mine too. Some sites would load, some wouldn't. Some would decide not to work after I just been on them.

That would probably explain why good old faithful Google wouldnt load up, but the odd thing was it wouldnt load up yet it managed to load up Google's Web site search, so google's web site search was searching for google.
