I think I might leave and find a better course somewhere else.

Anyone know any good places for film and media in general?

Stay away from National Diplomas everyone, total waste of time. All you do is news and documentaries. Not ONE person on my two year course is happy with ANY part of the course what so ever. Of course, since I started it I want to finish it, but I've wasted ANOTHER two years of my life (first two at 6th form) at Newcastle college.

And for what? My parents won't let me go to uni, too expensive. I have to get a job next year... Pft.

I am looking at doing Film And Media Studies at University too or possibly Journalism. I live in Scotland though (i'm not sure if you are in England?) and if you are willing to go live in Stirling or Glasgow I know those two unis are the best for it in Scotland. Hope I've helped.

That one in manchester that is always advertised on telly as "a greater manchester university", Salford or something I think. They do media courses. Bradford too, because they have the film and television museum thing, it is like a theme of the town, media.

You can also go to the national college of film and media in London. My girlfriend goes to a college down the road 'national college of dance and theatre'.

I am edging on going for a media/film course when I finish 6th form. I love media.
