deckard was actually a replicant too because if you watch the directors cut edition you see him dreaming about a unicorn when he is asleep leaning on the piano.at the end of the film the guy with the cane leaves a little foil model of a unicorn the only way he could have known about the unicorn is if he knew deckards memories and thoughts the same as deckard knew rachels memories because they had been given to her
If you read the book that bladrunner was based on - "do androids dream of electric sheep" then you will find out that the question of the main character being artifical is one of the main questions you are presented with

I always understood that it was suggested that Decard was a replicant... but that either way was never fully confirmed...???
