I had a PS1, bought a 4gamers wheel and pedals, now have a PS2, but the wheel is really odd, cant steer properly. i read somewhere that there are only 2 wheels that work with PS2, but i dont really want to pay all the money for the sony one, is there a cheaper one that works??

Absolutely. It makes a game a lot harder when it doesn't need to be, and it really isn't realistic in the slightest.

When it comes to steering wheels you're best going for the make supported by your favourite game, otherwise there can be compatability problems. So you're looking at £80-£120 for something decent. You could pay £18 for a GT1 steering wheel but if it doesn't work with half your games then it's really a waste of £18.

Do you have a small number of pulleys, some string and a plate? If so, I have a suggestion - simply connect up the plate to your current dual shock controller, with the string attached to both the plate and the analog sticks - easy and cheap.
