I'm in the second year of BND Media at college and we have what is known as the "Final major project" coming up. The topic is Documentary and it can be on what ever subject we want.

I'm trying to decide what I want to do mine on. I want it to be of a serious nature as all of my videos so far have been very light hearted. Any suggestions on what it could be about?

This message has also been posted in General Chat, but I'm thinking that I will find more valuable feedback here. I've also noticed that you already have a reccently added topic on documentaries, so I'm hoping that's already sparked off some thought.

Any ideas are welcome...

I'd do one on the socioeconomic divisions of wherever you live. That's if you want to be really serious. Whatever you do though do NOT do a documentary on Popular Youth Culture in other words NEDs because it has been done to death. Hope i've helped.

Do one about Special Reserve:
A gaming Company that has bought forums to bring people together.

Do a blair witch style thing.

Or alternatively you could use your own god dammed ideas and not rely on us to do your sodding work for you. You know, whichever.

3. What's inside that strange house? An investigation.

I was thinking of the homeless person idea a week or so ago. But then I considered the risk factor of a project like that. The examining board (Edexcel, I believe) have to approve your idea and I doubt they would allow me to take on that subject.
