I want to start using Ebay but I really dont know what I need to do about getting started.

First of all it goes on about needing a credit card to register, which I dont have. I think it might let me use my school email address as it allows an official thingy for identity or something. Anyway if and hopefully when I am registered, do you bid for stuff like basically you would when buying online?

How is the money taken from me to buy stuff from people? I have a debit account but not a credit card, I can buy stuff online with my debit card but dont know if I can use it for that.

I'm confussled in the cyber-hi-tech world of gadgetry and e-buying.

Be my candle in the dark and help me through the blackness of Ebay. Ah, go on!

Paypal.com

Paypal is the best way of paying by Credit card or debit card.

Also, you have to be 18 to use eBay, so I'd get your Dad to register if I were you.

Bidding on eBay is like a real auction, you state your max price, hope someone doesn't raise it. If they do, you can either leave it or bid more.

Buy it now is where items are sold at a fixed price.

I'd go to eBay and read about it there. That's what the help section is for...

You can pay buy:
Paypal and Cheque - 2 most common

Send cheque off to guy, wait for cheque to clear and the goods are sent out.
