My website is at http://www.geocities.com/thebeams_darktower/index.html
It's mostly all done and I even have some music for the main page (if it works okay for you), and anybody is free to download the music the artist's homepage (http://www.metissemusic.com, go to 'music downloads') it's called 'Boom Boom Ba" and those of you who watch "Dead Like Me" will know it instantly.

I use e107, which you can get from e107.org. Its basically PHP-Nuke but better (I think).

You can still use HTML, but i just generally add stuff using the php?article pages. Saves time, and i can get a new page up in 5 mins.

Personally, i use Dreamweaver. I like the way I can write code in the code view, then flick to the WYSIWYG bit for anything I cant be bothered with, or to see what it looks like making a few tweeks. If you use it right, Dreamweaver will save you sooo much time and make life much easier.

Even I've given up on the WYSIWYG!

I've got a nice new layout for my site done using CSS to align stuff, but I've got a few problems, like positioning something in respect to the bottom of something else...

I'm gonna post a thread later this week with the problems and showing what I've done so far. I'm stuck.

Oh, my listy type mouseover nav bar is the best though. Wohoo!

I do use Dreamweaver MX 2004 but only for it's colour syntax for code nothing else, makes looking at things eaiser, especially if they consist of over 3000 lines of code.. All my work is coded by hand using either notepad, DWMX04 or Topstyle Pro. The only way to code! WYSIWYG Sucks!

You can add MySQL database functionality directly from your Control Panel. The cost is £3 per month (excluding VAT) and for this you will receive unlimited tables and web-based administration in the form of PHPMyAdmin. This service is designed for personal and small/home office use only to facilitate more advanced web site features. It is not designed for heavy business use and does not offer any service level guarantee.

Bah, that put me off.
I might buy a domain name and sell it for some cash.

My host gives me 3 databases, and another host which i am going to use gives me them whenever i need them.

I found this site that offers free database hosting:

Yeah, but I don't use them. I think it's only a one off fee, and I think it's only when you renew your domain. It should say here:

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
Many thanks!
You were 100% right - great support!
