Man, this song is great, up until the kids start joining in. then it's strong accents galore, and just plain crapiness.

I remember the day when one of our "cool" teachers played "we don't need no education" to us in assembly. The bint then spent 10 minutes waffling on about the implication of the double negative "don't need no" and then went on about school for a bit (which they always do in assemblies for some reason).

Her saving grace was the fact she's top totty and her daughter is even nicer. Sadly though the daughter has put out more than the Aussie Bushland Fire Department. It's sad when a small town only has 5 nice girls; two of whom are married, two are up the duff and the other is the target of everyone's affections for the night.

Damn you Pink Floyd; why did you have to remind me of this?

I love Mother because its kinda like ones doubt of himself. And we rely (Well I did) on my mum for so many early years of our life.. then maybe we still want to know her opinion on every matter.

Mother's alright... not one of their best. But then I really dislike Roger Waters for being such a wingeing spunkface.. The Final Cut was absolutely terrible, musically. He's not a musician, he's a poet. His lyrics are excellent, sure, but he just puts music on top of words.

Gilmour, while not amazing at lyrics [although Learning to Fly and Fat Old Sun were superb], is a much better musician, ten times over. I hate the fact that Gilmour, Mason and Wright weren't given the freedom to do what they wanted... and by the time they did they forgot how to really use it.

Shine On is one of the greatest tracks ever composed.

Wish You Were Here, Mother, Comfortably Numb and Money.

weren't these the guys who had a concert where some people out of the audience built brick wall in front of the stage during the gig and then at the end knocked it down? I seem to remember...
