I have begun working for my sixth form newsletter because it is something I can put on my personal statement and it will look good when I apply for a writing course at a university. Anyway, we got the first task today and instead of doing some writing, what I am GOOD at, they have us running around like little gerbil reporters collecting bits of information for the grand high b*tch, a 'teacher' with no other job but sitting on her fat ass and telling others what to do. Apparently A-level students are incapable of piecing together a newsletter so she has to do it and get paid £8 an hour or something extortionate for it. I suppose I can word it craftily on my statement so it makes me look like I actually did something instead of being a lacky.

I am meant to be writing the newsletter (with other students) but instead, we gather the information and the fat woman writes it up as she thinks we arent good enough.

You'll live. I kinda got lost though. You're doing a newsletter which a teacher is doing but your actually doing it?
