I reckon they should choose five posts a day and put them up onto a special forum where each SR member is entitled to a vote on who should win, when it gets past 12:00 on that day the post with the most votes wins, I see that as probably the best way. and the voting should be shown but be anonymous!
What does everyone think of that?

People could vote for their friends all the time and that may almost guarantee someone winning almost all the time!
It would also get a bit like politics on here! "Vote for me and I'll vote for you tomorrow and make your life better"
2/3/01 RastaBillySkank. Damn fine post this one. Another winner in a post I started.
3/3/01 Juz. Makes some good points about arcade games only being played for a few minutes, and this doesn't always translate well to consoles.
4/3/01 RawisAndy. A decent Zelda review. Nice length, well written.
5/3/01 pb. I said at the time that this was a worthy winner, it makes a good point and is witty.
6/3/01 meka_dragon. PQMS8/00 nuff said.
7/3/01 Goatboy. Another well written piece from Goatboy, expressing his annoyance at the lack of PS2 sotware.
8/3/01 Kumaster. A decent ISS2000 review. Highlights the main features of the game.
9/3/00 pb. I missed this topic first time around. Again I think it's a case of not what you say, but how you say it, and pb expresses himself well.
10/3/01 ssxpro. Another good review, highlights the good points of Smugglers Run and it's use of the PS2's features.
11/3/01 Gronti_v. Another good post in the Numbers thread. Doesn't repeat what's already been said.
Sorry, they're all worthy winners to me.
It's quite simple, if you want to win write better stuff. It's the best review or discussion point that wins each day. There's no conspiracy against you.
It's not harder for regulars to win, but it is difficult to post something original and new that Ali hasn't heard you say before.
Try taking a different view on things. Rather than just making a point, why not turn it into an allegory? Use metaphor, personification and alliteration to your advantage. Don't rush your post, go back and sort out that grammar and correct those spelling mistakes.
As it says on the tin - Winning Gameaday is easy!
