Why did the chicken cross the road?

The chicken did not cross the road. This is a complete fabrication. We do not even have a chicken.

I love on going jokes such as this. If this is from another site or book thanks for showing me NB. If this is your own work I salute you, for this actually made me laugh. More so even than the time that fat guy got ran over outside Safeway by the ice cream van, though that was also quite funny.
