I've seen digital camera memory cards being used on XP, and it recognises them as an extra drive, and transfer seems simple. I'm running Win98se as I think its far more stable than XP/ME.
Is there a way I can have win98 recognise the camera memory as another drive? And if so, then how?
Thanks!
Gonna use it on these PCs here, they've got USB ports, so I can get super-fast downloads!
Very Good Buy!

Yep, well i've had my computer on for a week and it didnt lock up, so I guess It could have managed an extra week.
Plus I don't think XP in general is less stable than 98se, but just with my hardware it is. Thats something I forgot to mention in my original post.

You are categorically wrong.
Anyway I think you can mount it as a drive, yes, but most of the time it depends on the camera.
win98 is more stable than win ME - yes i'll give you that, but More stable than XP, i dont think so, can windows 98 run for 2 weeks non-stop without one lock-up???,
neway, as for your memory card question, yes it should work like xp on 98se
