I trained to use guns as a warrior and made my self an ammo pouch got 400 ammo and a gun and went killing but when i go to shoot it ses somthing about putting ammo on a paper doll? and my character ses out of ammo! whats up with that!

You need to put the ammo in the pouch on your character screen - in effect load the gun. Same as arrows.
