Just completed my collection of the two ATDI spin off bands. Mars Volat rock my world, utterly class band, and Sparta have impressed me too. Seems to off taken the rockier bits off ROC and with Bixler/Rodriguez's influence gone, they've turned out a far more orthodox album than De-Loused in the Comatorijm (which is genius). Still, Wiretap Scars is a great album, reminding me of Glassjaw in places for some reason. The music is sublime, and the vocals I am not so keen on, but still good.
If you are looking for the 'rock' side of ATDI, get this. Preferably, get all of anything to do with MV/Sparta/ATDI.
