Steve Martin has a huge array of outstanding films to his name. Unfortunately, anything in the last 10 years just hasn't been in the same league, and I have to say, he has been terribly mis-cast in this role.

I think I agree with my dad on this. Steve Martin could do an Inspector Clouseau but he shouldnt really because Peter Sellers really was made for the role and I'd hate for it to be ruined by a very americanised update.
