I will be a first time Mario buyer so it sounds like it is right up my street!
But not a classic. Ive bought Mario games for every console(Gameboy, Gameboy A, Nes, Snes, N64, and Cube)and i would say its the Mario title that has kept my interest for the least amount of time. But im unsure why! I got all 120 stars on Mario 64, but felt uninspired to do the same with Mario Sunshine.
Dont get me wrong, for a first time Mario buyer its a class title. But for us oldies it just lacked that certain something that you would associate with a Mario game.
(A few Goombas wouldn't have gone amiss either!)

Agreed, it is and has been one of the best games on the 'cube for a long time.
Then it was too tempting to finish the game by skipping 90% of it.
