Anybody seen this film, I have watched it many times but i still do not understand the ending! So whoever has seen it please could they explain it to me.

Was tempted by this last night on Sci-Fi, but didn't bother.
Seen this a while back.
The ending, as I recall, is Hopkins going off to die with Pitt accompanying him. Once Hopkins is dead, Pitt (Death) gives Pitt (person) his life back, having killed him off in spectacular fashion simply so he could take his body. So Pitt wakes up and can't remember where he is, whasserface bird is caught behind the grief of knowing what has happened to her father and the fact that she has a disillusioned Brad Pitt stumbling toward her and Death goes back to killing people.
