Money doesn't grow on trees, so looking for cheaper online prices again, I happened upon this online dvd retailer, dvdpacific.com.
From what I've read in other places, they seem to be pretty good, but I was wondering if anyone here had ever used them, and if so were they any good?

Example of prices:

T3 and Pirates of the Caribbean: £12.93
LotR Two Towers Extended Version: £17.23
Finding Nemo: £12.41
X-Men 2: £12.62

I like getting most of my US dvds from Movietyme, because they're reliable, friendly and get titles VERY early, though they charge about £18 for new dvds, but with dvdpacific you can get each one a fiver cheaper (but won't get them a couple of weeks early).

It's a tricky choice; paying a bit extra and getting titles up to a few weeks early, or save a bit and get them later.

They may be cheap but you have to pay for delivery which can be costly if you want the item within a few days. You could go and get the cheap delivery but your waiting up to 20 business days. With Movietyme do you pay postage? If you do then DVDpacific will be cheap but slow.If with Movietyme you dont pay p+p then once you factor in p+p for DVDpacific then the prices arent much different. Also I think that they charge extra for how many discs a movie has. So for instance on the slowest delivery you pay £1.19 and then £0.59 for each extra item. How I read it is that for LOTR TT Extended edition it would be £1.19 and then 3 x £0.59 which overall is £20.19 compared to £24.99 on Movietyme. I suppose it is a saving but at 20 business days for delivery then your waiting ages.

Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do, I am delighted.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
