You know how you can link outlook express to your email account (i.e. freeserve etc.), can you link Hotmail to it?

I know there is probably no point in this, as the .net passport signs me in straight away, and MSN messenger is always active. But it was just a thought.

It definetly used to be possible. You will need to find out the mailbox settings from hotmail.

Outlook Express and recent versions of Outlook(2000+) can both receive/send HTTP email (such as HOTMAIL).

Either go to add a new account and select HTTP for the mail server (rather than POP3) and follow the instructions of visit:
support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;220852
