1) Stop drinking coffee.

2) It has, including Start, eight buttons. The N64 has 10; PS and PS2 have 10.

So, why the shortage of buttons? I don't understand why they couldn't have just added a couple more to it. With the complexities of current gaming, it doesn't hurt to have a couple more.

The controller does have more buttons A,B and Z has had 2 more buttons added to the fray so no need for L2 and R2. The contoller being different is excellent it creates a new experience to gaming. Close you eyes whilst playing a PS2 and you think you are playing a PS a Gamecube is a different experience heres to origonality.

That has to be the worst website I've seen in a while... they've nicked IGN's pictures and wrote their name on it in paint... jese...

I only wish they'd included an L2 and R2 button on the thing. It'd be nice to have a couple of more buttons in there; it seems lacking in that department.

Being smaller then the N64 pads, it's likely to be cheaper too.

Take an N64 controller, add 2 buttons and swap the C buttons for and analogue stick.

Place another analogue stick next to the D-pad and take out the middle hand grip and you have the GC controller, hopefully only £15!

unlike the crappy PS2 pads, they are so uncomfortable and they are to small
