Congratulaiotns to Wycombe for making it to the semis. I hope they can do what Chesterfield should have done a few years back and get to the final

Just a pity it won't be played at Wembley. I remember going to Wembley to see Arsenal beat Liverpool in the Littlewoods cup in '87(first time Liverpool lost when Ian Rush scored). It was a great occasion.

Wembley needed knocking down years ago but somehow it did not seem right seeing the Worthington cup being played in the Cardiff stadium. It reminded me of when League cup and FA cup final replays used to be played at grounds like Maine Road.

Wembley may have been a dump with awful facilities and access but no stadium can capture the atmosphere of Wembley and all the history that goes with it.

I see a Liverpool - Arsenal final, which would be great!! Both teams have outplayed one another this season so should make for an interesting game. I think whoever plays in red will win it (just a superstition!!) which will be Liverpool, I hope - But only just.
COME ON YOU REDS!!!

In the last 20 odd years we have seen a few upsets in the final itself :

Wimbledon beat Liverpool
Coventry beat Spurs
West Ham (then the old div 1) beat Arsenal
Ipswich beat Arsenal

If Wycombe do reach the final (v unlikely) I think it would be fascinating. As an Arsenal fan I would be very nervous if we had to face them. Imagine the stick if we lost !!!.

I predict a Liverpool - Arsenal final, with the gooners coming out on top.

To be honest I think the semis is quite far enough for a small team. I prefer to see the big boys battle it out for the major silverware, as so rarely are there major shocks in the final.

I'd much rather see a Liverpool - Arsenal final than a Tottenham - Wycombe one.

I was born in Wycombe, and despite my supportation (?) of Liverpool, I have always kept my home town close to my heart.

It's nice to see they are doing well at the moment, after all the trouble they had two seasons ago I feel that they definitely deserve a decent cup run.
