I predicted great things for this lad, while many among you mocked him for having a slow start at Man Utd. Well, what was it, 9 goals last season as a bit-part player? And four goals in four games now this season. It's difficult to deny, even for the most fervent dissenting sputterers among you, that Forlan is quickly developing into a top class player, and Liverpool fans must surely be slightly wary of the upcoming Anfield clash, where memories of last season's double must surely be on the mind given Forlan's current form.

This is a thread where all those people who labelled Forlan crap can admit that you were so very very wrong.

I said to one of my mates that he'll bag a load of goals soon. It was the same with Angel when Villa first bought him. He need half a season to get going, and when he did he scored 20 odd goals for us.

He was then to rot in the reserves when Graham 'Turnip' took over, who ruined the whole Villa side.

Forlans shots seem very powerful, but are not always accurate enough.

Ok, ok i'll admit i was absolutely ..........right about Forlan. I was always saying if Ferguson actually gave the lad a run in the first team instead of chucking him on as a sub with 10 minutes to go that great things would happen and he's proving me right. Brilliant goal against Rangers last night, shows a striker who's very confident and happy with his game at the moment. Hopefully Fergie will carry on picking him.

Forlan's movement in behind Ruud was exactly what we need upfront and his shot accuracy is improving a lot. Im glad he's finally getting a regular place in the team. What a great goal that was against Rangers and I hope he continues his form and that fergie continues to play him alongside Ruud.

The team overall played well yesterday and I was quite happy with the team sheet - It was a lot more balanced than recent weeks. The slick passing and movement was there for everyone to see.

I expect the same side to line up against Liverpool on Sunday.

He seems to be getting better at it though. I frequently found myself holding my head in my hands every time he cocked his leg back last year, not wanting to look. Now it's like every time he can make something happen.

Scoring goals is the only way to shut up the critics. Hopefully Forlan will carry on banging them in for many a year.

My only concern is that he takes shots too early a lot of the time. Sort of snatching at them, which look great when they go in...but totally crap and stupid when he volleys at the corner flag.
