Marvellous. Utterly gripping, thought provoking and tradgic. I’ve seen it three times now (and once with commentary (drunk however)) and it moves me every time.
Soderburg is a fantastic director and gets better every outing, and Clooneys acting is the same.
To close this, I’d have to say that my lass *hates* SF and love stories with a passion (I’m the opposite), yet rates this as one of the best films she has ever seen.
Nah, can't be the same movie - that was utter toss. Was bought it for my birthday in July. Watched it early August. 12 days later it was sold on eBay.
More yawn-inducing than thought-provoking.
No doubt I'll be called stupid etc. etc., but I saw absolutely no point or relevance to the film at all.
nah, I like a good cerebral film, but I thought there was too much deCaprio/Winslet-esque style lovey stuff in it.
an opinion is just that though.

I have not, but may well try and get hold of it since I enjoyed the western version. I will not pay 22 quid for it though....
Has anyone seen the original?
Glad you enjoyed, I've seen it twice now and it just gets better each time.
Bane hated it, because it didn't have laser-guided sniper space sharks or porntroopers. He likes films about Turkish Prisons and Gladiator movies.

I don't remember. You hated it right?
Anyway, my opinion is well documented.
