OK, tell me - what do you think about it? and i don't want any "get a iPoD it's betta" stuff.

just keep the conversation geared towards the topic.

the NX is the 1 with the screen.

i presum you mean that when you have them in your hand, and you can hear the subtle whisper that earphones make?

that's something that sounds good to me...

well, the headphones i have are highly effective at blocking out external sound, so i *hope* they can work well with it.

if that is the case, it's Muvo NX for me!

it goes pretty damn loud.
i've not needed it cranked all the way up, i usually have it between 18-23, and i can hear it above traffic noise and everythign else when i wait for a bus....
i'd suggest buying some outrageously good headphones if you were planning on REALLY cranking it though, simply cos no pair of small headphones will last long...

(sorry i took a while to reply, i was away for the weekend)

you're being very helpful, but touching on the volume topic,

how loud is it capable of going? so liud that it's uncomfortable? i trust creative labs to be the masters of sound, so i would believe it.

just wanna make sure.

yes again. about 11 hours worth too :)
plus you get a spare battery pack so if you're getting low on juice, just plug into the other one until you've changed the battery :)

heh. well, i completely trust creative labs. And your opinion definitely fortifies my instincts. who would YOU trust? Sony or Creative labs? it's obvious...

Also, it looks like quite a heavy duty little thing.

oh, and is it REALLY capable of going THAT loud?

if so, i'm SO getting it.

also, i know it runs on one battery, but is it really AAA? i find it hard to believe that it can squeeze that much out of such a small battery.
