But Worms 3D. Well it played like Worms... it even looked like Worms. In fact it's a faithful Worms convertion into 3D...
But...
Where's the music?
Replacing the tradition tune I had been humming since I played it at the ECTS with Junior Senior is blasphemy! And I searched... I played many challenges, a few deathmatches as well as part of the campaign... Nothing.
The traditonal music was gone. I started listening to the credits and that was some jazzed up nothing. Well I lay there with the Credits rolling and I heared a voice talk about the Worms War... and as I listend the Worms began to sing:
"We Are Worms We're The Best And We've Come To Win The War!"
Hang on, I thought, I recognise that tune!
Best Game Ever :P

There is certainly room for upgrades on this game but... it's got the raw gameplay essence that TEam 17 needed to find.

They were incredible!
Boggy B and Spadge (and his nephew if my memory serves me right) all get a mention :D
Back to the topic, I liked Worm's United's style the best. The red stamp logo, the music, the "secret files" interface and the general look of the game.

I haven't played much of it but seval Worms are mentioned in the song and that certainly rings a bell.
Just played the demo... worked fine for me!
I can't imagine it being too hard for someone who knows what they're doing to make - but then again - what do I know...
I've tried all I can think of - except for partitioning the hard drive and sticking Windows 95 on the partition - if I had a Windows XP disc, I'd do it, but because Windows XP was preloaded onto my computer, I didn't get a disc with it.
Hmm... I'll have to give this some though, thought it would help if I could actually find the game.
Team17 just say there's no support for it and XP and I can't find a patch for it anywhere.
Tis because the original Worms is DOS based - and one of the few DOS based games that just wont run.
