Millionaire has captivated audiences for months now, but does it still have the same magical appeal that it once had? When it first started out, the show had that 'Wonder if anyone will ever do it?' interest, but now that it's been done and the million's been won, it just doesn't seem to appeal to me as much anymore.

Of course, watching contestants wrestle with the dilemma of having to risk £98,000 to win £500,000 when they get to the £125,000 stage is always interesting, and seeing if anyone finally goes away with £0 can be 'fun', but it's just not the same for me. The magic has gone, and I get more fun playing the boardgame with my sister's kids than I do watching it on television.

Maybe if they had 16 questions and went up to £2,000,000?

It was a shame that somebody so rich won the first £million, there are so many more people out there who deserved a £million more than she did. I doubt the £million has changed her life much to someone from a more deprived background.
However I predict millionare will be around for some time to come, although if the popularity of the show drops then it may become yearly!

It was a big let down for a lot of people having someone who already had more money than most winning the first Million....

The figures must be dropping, since they've started doing novelty (e.g. couples) episodes to try and keep life in the old dog...

Although it has been going for quite a while now... with many serieses ending and starting sometimes within the same month...?
