In my own experience playing FIFA 2004 in floodlit stadiums causes the most problems with slowdown and if you're playing like this on 60hz then the slowdown can be really quite frustrating but by playing on 50hz the game seems to run a whole lot better.
Give it a try yourselves... when the game first boots up and you get the screen to select either 50 or 60hz just select 50hz and see if it helps.
I only made this into a new topic because traditionally FIFA games sell very well and i wanted this small post about the slowdown problem to be seen by as many people as possible.
Once again thankyou to everyone that helped contribute to us fellow FIFA nuts and make this game a little more playable.
Please post with your own experiences and whether or not they are reduced now.
