I know about Monster S-Video, but as they do not ship to the U.K it is no good for me. So who knows where I can buy one from?
I have seen one from www.directintel.co.uk
That was a lot priced at £29.99, I would have got it, but there was no picture of it so I was just wondering would that be the best one to get? I do want to buy it, but I know all the experts are here, so I want your opinions please!!!
Telephone number or Web Site???
cable from a UK source [£59.99 del]. They are ;
Hadwins Electrical, Kendal, Cunbria.....sorry I don't have the tel no to hand.
Sounds alot but the sound and picture quality on my 29"
Sony TV improved significantly over the "bog" standard cable Sony supply with the PS2.
I have since wired into my Dolby Amp....orgasmic or what !!
http://www.monstercable.com /etailers/index.html
...there may be some online stores who will export to the UK.
I looked at a couple, and they didn't export - but it may be worth checking them all out.
Unfortunatly the page was under construction, but I will E-Mail them as I am desperate to get that cable in time for when I get my Widescreen TV! Is this the only place to buy Monster Cables in the U.K, or are there other places???

To quote PSM2 magazine, which has a special feature on the video options in issue #6:
"If you want to watch DVD's with your PS2, you have to connect to your TV via an RF lead - which is the worst connection you can get, a composite lead like the one in the box (better) or an S-Video lead (really good), but not an RGB connection (which is the best)."
It also says:
"The solution is to use two different leads depending on what you want to do - one for games and one for DVD playback.
For games you should use an RGB SCART lead. The chances aer you already own one of these from your PSone. This gives the best image you can get.
For DVD's RGB produces a green unwatchable image, so you must use one of the slightly inferior methods of connection. The next best is S-Video. This lead will cost you about £15, but you may have a hard time tracking one down. Try a hardcore specialist game shop (rather than your local HMV). A PSone grey lead in a yellow box will work fine. Proper PS2 ones are black in a turqiouse box, but are otherwise identical."
