Started a new thread to discuss the actual episode so all the guys waiting for the UK TV showings won't be spoiled.
Well, lots to get through:
Chase is a bit of a prat. I think we're all supposed to think he dies, so I reckon that both he and Jack will survive.
Palmer is still a BADASS. His brother is pretty cool too, but he's not as BADASS as President BADASS.
"oh noes, I'm the best hax0r at CTU but some gurl who can't get out of a non-lethal trap can shut down MY computer"
"oh noes, here's a cold blooded killer, lets give him a sharp pen whilst the man he told his innermost secrets to leans over"
JACK <3 JUNK which was a bit obvious. All the clutching of the heart and the "you did some BAD stuff Jack, eh, wink wink, eh Jack, nudge, wink, nudge nudge wink wink?" but the bad guy seems pretty darn cool with the "you're no fun" angle and although nothing matches the "I need a hacksaw", the whole Chase confrontation rocked (WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME).
What's with the mexican camel woman? The bodies bit was lovely x_x

Excellent until quarter of an hour in when it was revealed that Kim has a job at CTU. Worst plot 'twist' ever. Just kill her off, she's hopeless.
On the upside, Kim was wearing a fairly low cut top. On the downside, Kim's hair looks horrible.
Michelle is also wearing a fairly low cut top. Hurrah!
The entirety of last season's cliffhanger is explained by the president's mate saying 'Just remind the American people that you caught the people resonsible for the assassination attempt.' WTF? Either there was no point in having that cliffhanger or it is a ludicrous ruse to lull us into a false sense of security.
Somebody should get rid of Kim, and soon.
