Anyway after all the games are pretty good, TTT, SSX and Timesplitters I can point out many games that have done fairly well, but poorly in the All format charts.
But charts don't matter, because the quality of PS2 is pretty good after all, Sony wanted a good launch.
The Ps2's 'emotion' engine does produce more polygons and all those specs that indeed show it can do more than a little better than the DC. But somehow some people think it's a lot more powerful than the DC, they should still respect Sega for it's good efforts though, and the games were above the original launch games the PS2 had. Putting Shen Mue and his mates MSR and Jet Set Radio, of course that turns the best of the lot of PS2 games out at the moment, but the PS2 has only been out barely a year yet, and the game developers making games for them needs time to get the experience they need to bring better games in the MGS 2 calibre.
But once the Gamecube comes out the same has to happen for it, the N64 only got the games that pushed the machine to it’s limits a few years later with Zelda OoT.
They need to gel into the crowd so that it is a dominant figure in gaming.
