I don't mind the Darkness, its just all the crap about 'their old-school' stuff and all the quality 'guitar solos and fun rock'.

I just dont like 'the darkness'. i havent listened to their music, but their title is so cliched it's uncanny.

Some of their music is OK, the rest is a weird cross between Queen and early stuff by Metallica (ie the stuff on Kill 'Em All) with more bass.
