It's good when you haul your ass off a mates couch on a sunday morning, hungover, mouth tasting like several rodents died in it, sweaty and minging, to drive home, look at the clock and see that you made it home for 10 o clock, giving you a whole day to mince about watching telly. Then you get told it's really 9 o clock. How good is that? A free hour!

Are we the only country that has these strange time-changing habits?

I think whoever thought it up was a can short of a six pack, but I still enjoy being given another hour.

Surely it must confuse your body clock, just like jet-lag does. That'll be my excuse when I look dog rough on monday morning anyway.

Just a thread consisting of me thinking out loud there. Anything regarding daylight saving that you've really been wanting to get off your chest for a while? Don't bottle it up ..... ;D

If I followed that convention, my record would be over 4 and a half hours.

Personally, I find that sex is best when it lasts no longer than five minutes, and is followed by dropping your head against the pillow and going straight to sleep.

I still don't see the fun in coming-home to 'darkness' after a day of College or Work or whatever, but I did feel very "well-rested" on Sunday morning (for once!) after staying up quite late ('til 1am) on Saturday night to watch I Know What You Did Last Summer (Jennifer Love-Hewitt, of course!!).

But I remember when the clocks all went forward, earlier in the year, and after it had happened, it felt, to me, like Time had somehow 'speeded-up' or something... Like days were going-by too fast.

But since Sunday, it all seems to have "slowed-down" again, back to "normal" pace... And it all feels right again, only colder and darker (obviously).

Time's a funny thing... I've tried to understand it, but just got confused!

Yep, I can push all the right buttons...
The time did include a couple of minutes at the end though, to work out how to stop it.

It's great.

In the winter you get an extra hour to waste doing nothing.

In the summer if you time it right you can break your love-making record.
I'm at 1 hour 3 minutes now :^D

I stayed in bed till 12, turned the clock back and then got up feeling fresh as a daisy. I think we should turn the clocks back an hour 48 times a year. Then at 2am on december 27th we put the clocks forward 48 hours and then we are almost at new years eve.

I realise that, otherwise every year would be an hour longer, until we got whole free days, weeks and months. which would kick ass.

as it is we have to give the sodding hour back
