I got this out of a newspaper:

Imagine if the whole World was just a village of 100 people?? Here are some statistics that came out of an anonymous e-mail:

52 people in the village would be female. 48 would be male.

70 people in the village would be non-christian. 30 would be christian.

80 people in the village would be illiterate. 20 would be literate.

89 people in the village would be heterosexual. 11 people would be homosexual.

80 people in the village would be living in sub-standard housing. 20 would live in standard housing.

Only 1 person would have a college degree.

Only 1 person would own a PC.

50 people in the village would be well fed. 50 people would be starving.

Pretty amazing, huh??
