This hasn't happened to me for years. I got thinking about it after listening to some Nirvana albums. It must have been amazing to have "Nevermind", then be on your way to the shops to get "In Utero". They're both classic albums, The last time it happened was with Oasis. I owned "Definitely Maybe", and I went out to get "What's The Story (Morning Glory)", and it was brilliant. Like I said, it hasn't happened to me for years and I can't imagine the next time it will.
Why? Because the band support themselves on their own label etc, and I love them so they deserve my ££ for buying their music.
And it's like Xmas morning, if you download, you'll have seen your presents early - and where's the fun in that?
Anyway, if you are the kind to get excited about it, I would imagine the ability to download the entire album "in anticipation" of purchasing it, probably steals a lot of the fun out of it.

Clutch's new one.
Hurrah!
It's a shame. Probly shows how crap music has become now!
